Kids and families, never on their own.
Tidepath Family Alliance helps Miami-Dade kids and their families through mentoring, family counseling, and safety and mental health workshops in schools.
This is a demo nonprofit for the DevDay Exchange Community Hackathon 2026, Miami. Forms open on our demo portal and accept made-up data only.
What we do.
Three programs, one team. Every family gets one person to call, in the language they speak at home.
- Mentoring
A mentor for every kid who asks
Weekly sessions with a trained volunteer mentor. If a kid misses sessions, we call home the same week.
- Family counseling
Help when home gets hard
Private sessions for parents and kids with our counselors. Notes stay private and are written once.
- School workshops
Safety and mental health in class
Workshops for students, fitted to each class and approved by the school, in person or online.
“Every hour we save on paperwork is an hour we give back to kids and families.”

At a real nonprofit, gifts arrive online, through event tickets, at the gala auction and by check. Each donor would hear from us once, by name, and we would notice if a regular gift stopped.
